Our Programs

Soccer Team

In 2017 we started a soccer team in Fairfax in partnership with NAVY elementary school to promote inclusiveness, healthy exercise, and games for kids with special needs.

Therapy Scholarships

We have an application process for families to apply for financial assistance for speech therapy, occupational therapy,  music therapy, and even equine therapy. 

SIMPLY BASICS Camp

We started our SIMPLY BASICS camp in 2017 and now offer it from two locations in Virginia! At these camps we learn skills together such as shoe-tying,  and even have assessments offered by speech and hearing clinicians from the Howard University Speech and Hearing Clinic. 

Summer Camp for Youth

We began hosting a full-fledged week-long summer camp in 2021, where we facilitate educational sessions  topics like health and nutrition, computers and coding, phyical fitness, arts, history, and science.

Hands-On Community Aid

Donvoan Angel Foundation is fortunate to have many opportunities to take an active role in supporting local communities. One of our community-building areas of focus is to combat water contamination which causes developmental delays that lead to disabilities and special needs. We have provided bottled drinking water after disasters in Baltimore, MD and Flint, MI, distributed goods to those in need, and offered impromptu support sessions for families. 

WHAT HAPPENED IN 2023

Our "SIMPLY THE BASICS" one-week camp was held in June at the Fairfax County Government Center in Fairfax, Virginia. 


The 1st Annual Charity Golf Outing was held May 8, 2023 at the Oak Hills Golf Club in Columbia, South Carolina. 


Our DonovanAngelFoundation Summer Camp was offered in July. We had a great turn out and and some exciting learning sessions, including: 

  • Apple Classroom Coding Sessions
  • Microsoft Workshops in  Coding, Creativity, Science, and History 
  • Cooking with Chef Davu
  • Staying Physical Fit with Tay
  • A Tour of DC Museums and Monuments
  • A Day in Old Town Alexandria


We hosted our 2nd Annual RED, WHITE,  AND YOU PICNIC (My Mental Health  in the Midst of a Pandemic) in July, with Speaker Tamiyka Staley, Clinical Psychologist

Special Events

Military Appreciation Walk

In May 2023, we shared our support for our military by hosting a Military Appreciation Walk in conjunction with Golf Charity and the Donovan Angel Foundation Summer Camp. We had a Navy Captian and Vietname veteran that spoke to participants about their experience in the military. 

Donovan Angel Foundation Teams with Village Baptist Church

DonovanAngelFoundation collaborated with The Village Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland to assist with efforts  to provide clean drinking water to West Baltimore Residents due to contaminated drinking water.
